Whilst I have been in the Wine Trade for nearly all my working life, I have had the pleasure of owning lots of classic and sports cars, buying a 1936 Austin 7 Ruby when I was nineteen, followed by a 1932 Wolseley Hornet Special at twenty-one.
Having sold the Wine & Hamper business in 2014 and completed the hand-over process, I now have the time and space to enjoy my hobby as a proper business.
Both Mabel and Mary (www.classicbentleycarhire.co.uk) have appeared in two of the Endeavour series of Inspector Morse. We also supplied the red Jaguar XK 140 in The Outcast in 2015.
Mary appears extensively in the Amazon/BBC2 production of Good Omens, as Crowley's Bentley. Available from Amazon Prime since May 2019 & on BBC2 from 15th January 2020
Our Vintage Car Hire services
We have an ever expanding list of vehicles available for hire, and whilst initially based in the East Midlands, gradually rippling through to the rest of the country.
We can also offer transport and storage plus assist in buying and selling Veteran, Vintage and Classic vehicles for a small commission as a brokerage service.
For photo shoots, we normally drive cars to the shoot venue, or transport by trailer.
